I am a qualified BACP Integrative Counsellor with a particular interest in abuse, trauma and grief. I offer a kind, caring, non-judgmental safe space for your sessions. I am passionate about listening to people and I believe that talking really does help. Deciding to seek counselling can be a difficult decision and I understand this. I offer a free initial 15 minute appointment usually by phone or online to see if we both feel we can work together.

About me and my practice

I see my face-to-face clients from the conservatory in my garden. It is private and not overlooked. It is fully air conditioned and heated so no matter what the weather it is temperate and comfortable.
If you choose online therapy I offer this by way of a secure online platform. You don't need to download anything I send you a link and you simply click the link at the appointment time.

Experience

My approach is integrative which means that I draw on a variety of different therapeutic approaches depending on what might suit you best. I hope to help you understand yourself better to assist you in making positive changes in your life.
I have experience in the field of domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse, trauma and grief.

Qualifications

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling accredited by British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a member of the BACP. This means I work to a set of standards and processes and reflect good practice, experience and continuous professional development. I see a Counselling Supervisor monthly. I hold a current DBS check and professional indemnity insurance.
